How it works

From discharge to ready, without a phone call.

Each person does their part on their phone. Control passes the room to whoever is next, and only a room that passes inspection is released.

A room turnover

Five steps. Every hand-off happens on its own.

  1. 01DischargeNurse

One tap at the door checks the patient out. The room goes straight into the EVS queue.

  2. 02AssignAutomatic

One EVS employee on shift gets the room, with 10 minutes to accept before it moves on.

  3. 03CleanEVS

The unit’s checklist, its procedure and a minimum clean time, in English, Spanish or French.

  4. 04InspectCharge nurse or clerk

Spot checks and the equipment in the room. A fail goes back to EVS with a note.

  5. 05AvailableUnit

The room is released for the next patient and the unit clerk is alerted.

Who does what

Each role sees only what it needs.

Shared equipment

The pump is clean, and you can prove it.

  • Clean, or not

Every commode, IV pole and pump shows when it was last cleaned and by whom.

  • Dirty shows everywhere

An item that fails inspection or is overdue for a clean shows as Dirty on every list until someone cleans it.

  • Find it fast

Look up where an item is and where it belongs. Moving it takes two taps.

For managers

See every room without walking the floor.

  • A live board

Every room’s status, plus holds and delays with a reason.

  • Inspection before release

A failed room goes back to EVS with a note. Shortcuts need a reason and stay flagged.

  • Measured from day one

Turnover time, time to accept, clean times, re-cleans and daily-clean compliance.

  • A record no one can edit

Every step kept with a name and a time, ready to export.

Control for managers

At every door

No power. No batteries. No Wi-Fi.

The room marker needs none of them. There is nothing at the door to wire, charge or connect, so a unit can go live without an IT project.

  • No power outlet
  • No batteries to change
  • No Wi-Fi or network drop
  • No wiring or construction
