What this policy covers
This policy covers vicorysolutions.com, run by Vicory Solutions LLC in Iowa, USA. It does not cover the Control app itself. When a hospital uses Control, its agreement with us sets out how Control handles that hospital’s data.
What we collect
When you contact us
If you email us, we receive your name, email address and anything you choose to write.
When you book a demo
Our booking calendar is run by Google. If you book a time, Google collects the details you enter, such as your name, email address and answers to the booking questions, and shares them with us so we can hold the call. Google handles that information under Google’s privacy policy. The calendar only loads if you allow it in your cookie settings.
When you visit the site
Our hosting provider, Vercel, processes standard technical information to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse: your IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time of the request. We don’t use this to identify you or to build a profile of you.
Site statistics
We use Vercel Web Analytics to count visits. It records the page you viewed, the site that sent you here, your general location, and your browser and device type. It sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device, and it gives us anonymous totals, not a record of who you are. To tell visitors apart, Vercel uses a value created from your request and discards it after 24 hours. Before a page view is sent, we remove everything after the page address, including the code in our email links. If you choose “Necessary only”, or your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, your page views aren’t sent. Vercel explains this in its Web Analytics privacy notes.
How pages are used
To see which parts of our pages help people, and to find what’s broken, this site records where visitors click, how far they scroll, which parts of a page stay on screen, and problems such as a button that does nothing or a script that fails. It notes whether the screen is phone-sized or larger. All of this is stored as daily totals for each page, in the database behind our CRM, run for us by Supabase. It has no name, no visitor ID and no IP address, it never includes anything you type, and it isn’t connected to you or to the rest of your visit, even if you came from a link in one of our emails. It sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device. We keep these totals for 90 days. They stop when you choose “Necessary only”, and if your browser sends Global Privacy Control they’re never recorded.
Cookies
We set one cookie, which remembers your cookie choices. If you allow “Visits from our emails”, we also keep one item in your browser’s storage (see Links in our emails). We don’t use advertising or analytics cookies. Our fonts and videos are served from this site, so viewing a page doesn’t contact other companies. The details are in our cookie policy.
Links in our emails, and visits to this site
When we email you, the links to this website carry a short code that tells us the visit came from that email. We use it only to understand whether our emails are useful to the people we write to.
- What we record. When you arrive through one of those links, we record that you visited, which pages you looked at, roughly how long each was on screen and how far you scrolled, and whether you clicked an outside link, an email link or the booking calendar. We connect this to the contact record we already hold for the person we emailed. If an email is forwarded, the visit is credited to the person we originally wrote to.
- Nothing on your device unless you choose. By default, the code is kept only while the page is open and is removed from your browser’s address bar. We store nothing on your device. If you allow “Visits from our emails” in your cookie settings, or choose “Accept all”, we keep one item in your browser so that a later visit is recognised too. Choosing “Necessary only”, now or later, deletes it. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we never store it.
- Visits without a code. If you came to the site any other way, nothing that could identify you or your visit goes into our CRM. It’s counted only in the anonymous site statistics and page totals above, and our hosting provider still keeps the standard logs described there.
- Where it’s kept. These records go into Vicory’s own CRM, whose database is run for us by Supabase. We don’t sell or share them, and we don’t use them for advertising.
- How long. We keep visit records for 12 months.
Patient information
This website never asks for patient information. Please don’t include patient names or other health information in an email to us or in a booking form.
How we use it
- To answer your questions and hold the demo you booked.
- To follow up with you about Control, if you’ve been in touch with us. You can ask us to stop at any time.
- To understand whether our emails are useful to the people we write to (see Links in our emails).
- To see how many people visit the site, which pages they read and how they found it (see Site statistics).
- To improve our pages and fix what’s broken (see How pages are used).
- To keep the site working and secure.
- To meet our legal obligations.
Who we share it with
We don’t sell your information, and we don’t share it for advertising. We share it only with:
- Service providers who run parts of our business for us: Vercel (website hosting and site statistics), Google (email and the booking calendar) and Supabase (the database behind our CRM, where contact and visit records and anonymous page totals are kept).
- Authorities, when the law requires it.
- A buyer or successor, if our business is sold or merged. This policy would still apply to your information.
How long we keep it
We keep emails and booking details for as long as we’re talking with you about Control, and for a reasonable time after that for our records. Records of visits from our email links are kept for 12 months. Site statistics are anonymous totals, kept by Vercel under its own retention terms. Anonymous page totals are kept for 90 days. Ask us to delete any of it and we will, unless the law requires us to keep it.
Your choices and rights
- See, correct or delete the information we hold about you by emailing connor@vicorysolutions.com.
- Stop follow-up emails by replying to any of them or emailing us.
- Change your cookie choices any time with “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page.
- Visits from our emails are remembered in your browser only if you allow it in Cookie settings; “Necessary only” deletes what we kept.
- Site statistics and page totals stop when you choose “Necessary only”. Your first page view may already have been counted by then.
- Global Privacy Control: if your browser sends this signal, we treat it as “necessary only” automatically.
Depending on where you live, the law may give you more rights over your information. We honor these requests from anyone, wherever they live, and we won’t treat you differently for making one.
Security
The site is served only over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). We use reasonable safeguards to protect the information you send us, but no method of sending or storing information is completely secure.
Children
This site is for hospital professionals. It isn’t meant for children under 16, and we don’t knowingly collect their information.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information, we’ll update this page and the “Last updated” date at the top. If we start using a new kind of cookie, the cookie bar will ask you again.
