Security and compliance

Ready for your IT, security and compliance review.

The answers your reviewers will ask for, in plain language. The full documents are ready before your first meeting.

The Control app

What your reviewers will want to know.

  • No patient identifiers

Control doesn’t store patient names, medical record numbers, dates of birth or diagnoses. An isolation flag on a room carries no patient details.

  • Data stays in the United States

Hospital data is held only in the United States, by a hosting provider with a SOC 2 Type II report.

  • Encrypted

Data is encrypted while it travels and while it is stored.

  • Your hospital login

Staff can sign in with your hospital’s own single sign-on.

  • Two-factor sign-in

Sign-in uses a second factor from an authenticator app.

  • A record no one can edit

Every step is kept with a name and a time. Nobody can edit or delete it, and it exports to a spreadsheet.

  • Events for your security team

Control can send its activity record to your security team’s log platform as it happens.

  • Business Associate Agreement

We sign a BAA with your facility as part of the contract.
