For environmental services teams and leads

Your next room is already in your queue, with the unit’s steps in your language.

Discharged rooms land in your queue the moment the nurse checks the patient out. The unit’s checklist, its cleaning procedure and short how-to videos are on your phone, in English, Spanish or French.

What changes for EVS

  • A queue that runs itself

Rooms go to the EVS employee on shift for that area. Re-cleans come first, then the room that has been dirty longest.

  • Every unit’s steps, shown

The checklist and the unit’s procedure are one tap away, with short videos. Float and new staff clean it right on day one.

  • In English, Spanish or French

Each person picks their language. Screens, checklists and procedures follow.

  • Credit for your work

Every clean is timed and recorded under your name, so your work is on the record instead of a whiteboard.

Example

One room, from your queue to ready

  1. 10:43

A discharged room lands in your queue, assigned to you.

  2. 10:45

You accept it. The nurse can see you’re on the way.

  3. 10:51

You tap the door to start. The checklist and the unit’s steps are on your phone.

  4. 11:14

Every task is done and the minimum clean time has passed. You mark the room clean.

  5. 11:16

The room passes inspection. Your clean is recorded under your name.
